Summary of the role: As a PMO Manager, you will be part of our Operational Transformation Team, reporting to the Head of Operational Transformation, and will closely collaborate across multiple centralised teams, senior business leaders, the client and 3rd party suppliers. This is a strategic role, managing a small team and leading client led transformation projects. You will be responsible for the management and oversight of the Fix the Fundamentals project charters to support the delivery of positive change across a range of measures. You will be operating within a highly complex and regulated environment to drive effective change in the support of the delivery of excellent outcomes for our customers. Benefits:

- Managing the interface between the Client, IT, 3rd party suppliers, Front and Back-office teams, to deliver oversight and delivery of Operational Transformation projects.
- Influence key stakeholders (e.g. Corporate and Client SLT members) to ensure that Operational Transformation is planned effectively, and key milestones, contention, dependencies and risks are identified and understood.
- Manage the estimation process deliverables within contractual timeframes for Operational Transformation activities.
- Collaborate with both internal and external teams to develop the Operational Transformation roadmap and plans.
- Provide effective communications to key stakeholders and staff using different mediums and channels when appropriate to ensure the Operational Transformation plan visibility, clarity and alignment.
- Lead and coach a team of direct reports to deliver their Operational Transformation control responsibilities and support appropriate personal development plans.
- Develop and manage necessary frameworks, processes and documentation to exceed minimum requirements and to protect Service Levels across operations.
- Engage, maintain and share regular updates on Operational Transformation activity across a range of stakeholders including client, SLT, and 3rd parties.
- Proven track record of managing projects / programmes as a PMO Manager – including project governance, RAID, risk, budgeting, portfolio management.
- Experience of management and motivation of a team of specialist and non-specialist staff.
- Strong Project Planning/PMO experience.
- Background working within financial services – preferably Life and Pensions, however wider FS will be considered.
- Experience of managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly come up to speed on new areas/topics and build credibility with professionals from other disciplines.
