Oracle EPM Consultant
Location: Glasgow / Edinburgh (Primarily remote; occasional 2-3 days on site as required)Contract: 6 months Day Rate: £500-560 (Inside IR35)
Role OverviewYou will support and enhance the Oracle EPM Finance Cloud environment following its go-live, ensuring continued stability, performance, and adoption across finance operations.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide post go-live support, including incident response, troubleshooting, and remediation.

Implement enhancements, updates, and optimisation initiatives in the EPM Finance Cloud environment.

Develop and maintain data integration (e.g., ERP/BI system feeders, FDMEE, REST/SOAP APIs).

Create and manage narrative and financial reports, including maintenance of financial reporting definitions.

Author, update, and refine business rules to automate calculations and financial processes.

Leverage Groovy scripting to automate routine tasks and processes.

Engage with finance and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, translate requirements to technical designs, and ensure smooth delivery of solutions.

UK Residency: Minimum 5 years (Right to work in the UK required).

Oracle EPM Finance Cloud Expertise: Demonstrable hands-on experience in a post-go-live Oracle EPM Finance Cloud environment.

Technical Proficiency:

Data Integration: FDMEE, REST/SOAP APIs, or equivalent tools.

Reporting: Narrative reporting and Oracle Financial Reporting modules.

Business Rules: Development and maintenance using Oracle's rule framework.

Groovy Scripting: Creating automation and process optimisation's.

Collaboration & Communication: Clear engagement with both technical and finance teams to manage support tickets, enhancement requests, and deliver documentation/training.

A self-starter with strong ownership over system stability and enhancements.

Comfortable juggling multiple support issues, priority changes, and stakeholder demands.

Detail-oriented, ensuring solutions align with best practices and governance requirements.

Skilled at translating finance requirements into technical implementations.
