Power Platform Developer - Public Sector Digital Transformation
A respected consultancy is seeking a certified Power Platform Developer to support a strategic public sector programme focused on digital service delivery, automation, and data-driven decision-making. This is a 6-month contract, offered Inside IR35, with a fully remote working arrangement and a daily rate of £400-£450.
Role Overview:
You'll be instrumental in designing and deploying scalable, low-code solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you'll help automate work-flows, build intuitive applications, and deliver actionable insights that improve public services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Canvas Apps tailored to user and service needs
- Build and optimise Power Automate flows for business process automation
- Design and implement Power BI dashboards for real-time data visualisation
- Integrate and manipulate data using JSON and HTML
- Utilise Dataverse for secure, scalable data storage and relational modeling
- Configure and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines to support CI/CD workflows
- Ensure all solutions meet public sector standards for accessibility, security, and compliance
Required Certification:
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or equivalent (Candidates with other relevant Microsoft certifications will also be considered)
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience with Power Platform components (Power Automate, Power BI, Canvas Apps)
- Strong proficiency in JSON and HTML for data handling and UI customisation
- Solid understanding of Dataverse architecture and integration
- Experience with Azure DevOps, including pipeline setup and deployment
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
- Prior experience in public sector or regulated environments is highly desirable
