Role: Product Owner
Rate: £600 p/d Inside IR35
Duration: 6 months initial
Location: South Coast HQ – 1 day p/w on site
We’re looking for an experienced Product Owner to join a high-impact Fulfilment domain within a major retail environment.
You’ll take ownership of a critical in-store application used across all stores and banners. The platform supports over 30 features and underpins key operational processes including picking. inventory management, stock location accuracy, click & collect and store-to-store collection
Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in complex environments
- Retail, fulfilment, supply chain or store operations experience (highly desirable)
- Experience working with operational or in-store systems
- Comfortable managing enterprise dependencies (e.g., SAP)
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on operational excellence
- Able to operate confidently in evolving agile environments
Responsibilities:
- Owning and prioritising the product backlog within the Fulfilment domain
- Driving improvements in picking efficiency and stock accuracy
- Ensuring stock location and quantity data supports optimal sales performance
- Collaborating with engineering, BAs, and dependent teams (including SAP)
- Managing cross-functional dependencies in a complex environment
- Engaging stakeholders across multiple retail banners
- Contributing to evolving agile ways of working

- Product Owner is supported by a strong BA capability with deep domain knowledge

- Agile structure evolving (Scrum Master model transitioning to Agile Coach support)
