Project Manager

Project Manager - (Persistent Change) Location: York Day Rate: Circa £525? Contract: 6 months (potential to extend)

About the Role A leading financial services client of ours are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support ongoing delivery within the Protection Portfolio, operating under a persistent change delivery model.

This is a fast-paced environment with a broad change backlog covering regulatory, distribution, platform, and digital initiatives. You'll work with co-located feature teams, a third-party supplier, cross-functional stakeholders and finance and regulatory teams to drive delivery in short, outcome-focused cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage change delivery across multiple protection products (e.g. life, critical illness).

• Collaborate closely with internal development teams and third-party suppliers.

• Navigate governance processes across Agile and gated environments.

• Engage with stakeholders across digital, regulatory, delivery, and finance functions.

• Support financial tracking and reporting.

• Drive delivery in 2-3 month release cycles.

Skills & Experience

• Proven track record in Agile delivery, ideally with Scrum methodology.

• Comfortable operating in hybrid governance models (Agile + gated).

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and onboard new initiatives.

• Experience with MS Project or similar delivery tracking tools.

• Familiarity with Planview and financial processes (desirable).

• Knowledge of protection products beneficial but not essential.
