Project Manager - VMware Cloud Infrastructure Upgrades
Location: Hatfield (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical IT infrastructure and cloud platform projects for a global enterprise environment.
This role is centred around VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) upgrade initiatives, so applicants must have proven experience managing VCF upgrade projects from planning through to successful delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver end-to-end IT infrastructure and cloud platform projects.
Lead VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) upgrade programmes.
Manage project plans, risks, issues, dependencies and change control.
Work closely with technical teams, stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
Provide regular project reporting and governance updates.
Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering IT infrastructure projects.
Demonstrable experience delivering VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) upgrade initiatives (essential).
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience managing project finances, risks and governance.
Knowledge of Prince2, Agile or other recognised project management methodologies.
Experience delivering cloud platform projects.
Experience working within large enterprise environments.
Exposure to VMware technologies including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX or vSAN.
