SAP Solution Architect
Role: SAP Solution Architect
Rate: Up to £725 p/d to LTD company (self-determination)
Location: 2 – 3 days p/w on site – Canary Wharf HQ
Duration: 6 months initial agreement
The SAP Architect will be responsible for the green-field solution designs and architectural decisions to seamlessly integrate new ERP ecosystem (covering Finance, HR and Procurement) into existing landscape and recommendation of the appropriate technologies, and that functional / non-functional requirements are being met.
Experience Required:
- Proven Experience in choosing, designing, and implementing SAP ERP (S4HANA, SuccessFactors, BTP, Ariba etc).
- At least 3 years of experience in Solution Architecture, or a SME related role, with a strong focus on financial tech.
- Proven experience in delivering architecture through the full delivery lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability in the use and implementation of at least one major SAP ERP software.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with finance modules within SAP ERP systems.
- Experience implementing with cloud-based SaaS solutions, particularly Cloud based ERP solutions.
- Knowledge of data migration strategies and conversion strategies for transferring data between systems.
- Understanding of various architectural frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF, Zachman, etc.
- Stakeholder management on all levels of Technical and Non-Technical relations
Responsibilities:
- Work with the IT Architecture Team as a Core Project Team member to shape the business case/project initiation document
- Participate in workshops, providing quality assurance and gathering requirements to shape project deliverables.
- Understand the As-Is Infrastructure components and business applications , e.g. Authentication, User management, Integration, Migration options
- Formulate and document project technology artefacts that help to articulate desired direction of travel:
- Design principles and policies, Requirements (Functional and Non-Functional), Technical standard, Key Decisions
- Solution briefs, high-level and low-level designs
- Architecture and Program Board Presentations
- Contribute to required procurement processes such as RFx, vendor selection and workshops.
- Oversee and assure the work of in-house and external design and delivery resources.
- Challenge delivery partner(s) proposals where necessary to protect the interests and needs.
- Act as the key technical point of contact for partners and engage with internal teams to ensure all interests are considered.
- Authoring appropriate technical reference materials such as high-level designs to support Transition and technical handover
