SC Cleared Network & Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network & Security Engineer to join a leading organisation based in Portsmouth.

• Extension and redesign of wireless networks

• Security migrations (Juniper to Fortinet firewalls)

• Network architecture, design, and optimisation

• Incident investigation and resolution

• Implementing approved network changes

• Measuring and improving infrastructure performance

• Producing technical documentation and customer updates

• Administration of IT networks, firewalls, users, and site security

• 3+ years' experience as a Network/Security Engineer in a service provider environment

• Strong knowledge of network security principles and networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, VPNs, WiFi, Telephony, Routing & Switching)

• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Juniper, Fortinet, Checkpoint or F5 security platforms

• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, CCSA or F5-CTS (LTM/ASM)

• Ability to work semi-autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• SC Clearance
