SC cleared Lead Deskside Support

Location: Bristol (Onsite)Duration: 9 Months Rate: £19.33 per hour (Umbrella)Clearance: Active SC required (must be willing to undergo DV)

We are seeking a Technical Lead Engineer to join a secure onsite environment, supporting end users within a Wintel infrastructure.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining deskside support with team guidance responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2 deskside support (Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365)
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues (laptops/desktops - break/fix)
  • Manage incidents and service requests in line with SLAs
  • Support and guide a small team of engineers onsite
  • Ensure ticket quality, updates, and process adherence
  • Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong deskside / desktop support experience (L2)
  • Solid knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365
  • Hardware troubleshooting (laptop/desktop break-fix)
  • Experience working in structured, SLA-driven environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
