Rate - £500 - £550 Outside IR35
Duration - 6 Month Initial Contract
Location - Kent 2 Days Per Week on Site
An exciting opportunity has for an experienced Security Architect to support a major transformation programme within a complex enterprise environment.
This role will play a key part in shaping security architecture across new and evolving technologies, ensuring solutions are secure by design and aligned with business, regulatory and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of security architectures across systems, networks and enterprise platforms.
- Design solutions that support multiple security classifications and geographically distributed environments.
- Produce high quality security architecture and systems security documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide expert guidance on Identity and Access Management strategy and architecture.
- Ensure secure configuration management practices are embedded within programme delivery.
- Review solutions and architectures to ensure alignment with security principles, standards and governance requirements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to identify and prioritise critical business functions.
- Conduct security assurance reviews and identify security gaps, risks and areas of non compliance.
- Support the development and delivery of Security Risk Management Plans.
- Assess the security impact of new systems, integrations and interfaces on the wider technology environment.
- Evaluate architectural designs against business, technical and security requirements.
- Advise on appropriate security controls across networks, applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Cyber Security teams to support governance, compliance and risk management activities.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience operating as a Security Architect within large scale transformation programmes.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity architecture principles and secure by design methodologies.
- Experience delivering security assurance and architecture reviews.
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management.
- Experience assessing and mitigating security risk across enterprise environments.
- Ability to engage effectively with technical teams, suppliers and senior stakeholders.
- Experience within regulated or security conscious environments would be advantageous.
