Security Solutions Architect
Full Time / Oxfordshire / Hybrid £50,000 - £70,000 + Bonus

Due to continued expansion, they are now looking to appoint a Security Solutions Architect to join their high-performing Solutions Engineering team.
The RoleReporting to the Head of Solutions Engineering, you will play a key role in supporting business growth by delivering expert pre-sales technical consultancy across a broad security portfolio.
This is a client-facing position where you will:
Engage with customers to understand their security risks, challenges, and objectives
Design robust, modern, and commercially viable security solutions
Support the sales function with technical expertise throughout the full sales lifecycle
Deliver compelling product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (POCs)
Produce high-quality proposals, scopes of work, and tender responses
Present and position solutions confidently against competitive offerings
This role would suit someone with strong consultancy or pre-sales experience who enjoys working directly with customers and shaping secure, scalable IT environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver both chargeable and non-chargeable technical pre-sales services to new and existing customers
Build and maintain strong technical relationships with clients and prospects
Support opportunity qualification, discovery sessions, and technical account planning
Deliver engaging product presentations, demonstrations, webinars, and customer-facing events
Design and execute tailored POCs
Evaluate competitive solutions and recommend best-fit technologies
Contribute to technical solution design and documentation
Experience in technical consultancy, pre-sales, or customer-facing project delivery within an MSP or IT reseller environment (essential)
Strong knowledge across IT infrastructure and security technologies
Experience working with technologies such as Sophos, Microsoft, N-Able, Mimecast, Barracuda, Fortinet (or similar vendors)
Strong proposal and tender writing experience
Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
Commercial awareness with the ability to articulate business value alongside technical detail
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
Right to work in the UK
Relevant certifications across security, Microsoft, or vendor technologies are highly desirable.
