Senior Project Manager - Insurance Brokerage Transformation

Our market leading Insurance Brokerage client are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to driving two high-impact, business-critical change initiatives focused on operational improvement and organisational simplification. The role sits within the Strategic Portfolio, and will be reporting directly into Transformation Director.

Projects Scope - Operational Effectiveness & Efficiency A major programme focused on improving performance across a 52-branch network. The objective is to analyse productivity, output, and profitability across branches and translate insights into tangible improvements.

Key elements include:

  • Deep-dive analysis of branch performance using existing data insights
  • Reviewing tooling, systems, and operational processes
  • Identifying drivers behind high-performing vs underperforming branches
  • Translating analysis into a standardised operating model
  • Driving improvements through:
    • Process standardisation
    • Centralisation opportunities
    • Automation and AI
    • Potential offshoring

Initial diagnostic work has been completed by Data and Lean BAs. The Project Manager will take ownership of this analysis and lead end-to-end delivery of implementation, ensuring tangible business outcomes are realised.

This is a business change-led programme, with technology as an enabler

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end business change programmes (initiation through to implementation and benefits realisation)
  • Strong insurance sector experience, ideally within:
    • Commercial or broking environments
    • Understanding of the full insurance lifecycle (e.g. policy, renewals, claims)
  • Ability to demonstrate process improvement / optimisation delivery (e.g. automating renewals, improving claims processes, driving operational efficiency)
  • Experience with delivering automation, AI, or offshoring strategies
  • Strong planning capability - able to build and own robust, detailed delivery plans from scratch
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including:
    • C-suite and senior leadership
    • Operational/branch stakeholders
  • Ability to operate across business and technology teams, bridging both effectively

Initial 6-month contract - with strong likelihood of extension Largely Remote - London (City) 1-2 days a month Rate - Up to £650 (Outside IR35)
