An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading financial markets organisation delivering strategic technology and business transformation initiatives. Experience within investments / asset management / wealth management is essential.

This role offers the chance to work on software development and digital innovation programmes supporting the evolution of next-generation trading, investment and digital asset capabilities within a highly regulated environment.

The Opportunity

Working across business and technology teams, you will lead complex, multi-stream initiatives from inception through to delivery, helping bring new platforms, products and operational capabilities to market.

You'll be at the centre of large-scale transformation initiatives, partnering with technology, product, operations, risk and compliance teams to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology and change programmes
  • Manage multiple workstreams across software development, operations and business functions
  • Build and maintain project plans, governance frameworks, RAID logs and executive reporting
  • Work closely with engineering, architecture and product teams to deliver strategic technology initiatives
  • Drive stakeholder engagement across senior leadership, technology and business teams
  • Support business readiness, operating model evolution and adoption of new capabilities
  • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies and delivery challenges
  • Ensure delivery remains aligned to evolving business priorities and strategic objectives

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale technology and software development projects within financial services, fintech or capital markets
  • Strong project management, delivery management or business change background
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently and drive programmes to successful outcomes
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk and regulatory considerations
  • Experience working with agile and hybrid delivery methodologies
