Solution Architect SC Cleared
Position: Solutions ArchitectLocation: London | 2 days per week onsiteDay Rate: £550-£600 inside IR35 (negotiable)SC clearance required
We're looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join a major central government programme on a contract basis. You'll bring strong, broad technical expertise and the ability to shape secure, scalable solutions across complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution design across infrastructure, cloud and network domains
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to define architecture, standards and technical direction
- Produce clear architectural documentation and support delivery teams through implementation
- Contribute to technology strategy and ensure alignment with government security and governance frameworks
Skills & Experience
- Active SC clearance (essential)
- Broad technical background across infrastructure, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), networking and security
- Experience designing solutions in large, secure, multi-supplier environments
- Familiarity with software/application technologies is a bonus
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
