£600-700/day overall assignment rate to umbrella

6-month contract

Once a week in Wiltshire

Working with a financial services client who are looking for a Staff Data Engineer to act as the technical authority, overseeing 6 Scrum teams.

This role will be a hands-off position but will require someone with an extensive data engineering background.

Staff Data Engineer, key skills;

• Must have Snowflake experience
• Strong SQL skills
• Data pipelining experience
• ETL
• Ability to act as a technical leader

Staff Data Engineer, key responsibilities:

• Act as the Technical Authority across multiple teams
• Escalation point for engineering matters
• Lead on data engineering best practices and standards
• Contribute to design and architecture
• Work closely with stakeholders
