Technical Project Manager

We are working with a leading financial services client seeking an experienced Technology Project Manager to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract, with a strong potential for a permanent position

This is a hands on role operation at the intersection of business and technology, where you will take full ownership of project delivery from initiation through to completion. Prior experience within financial services is essential due to the regulatory and operational nature of work

Salary - £50,000.00 - £60,000.00

Location - Birmingham - twice a week onsite

Duration - 12 Months with the opportunity of permanent employment

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end to end delivery of technology projects
  • Support cyber resilience and risk focused programmes
  • Contribute to the roll out of AI and data driven initiatives
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans using MS Projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, scope and outcomes
  • Ensure projects comply with financial services regulations and standards
  • Manage risks, dependencies, governance and reporting throughout the project lifecycle

Key Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering end to end projects within financial services
  • Strong background in IT/Technology project delivery
  • Experience with cyber resilience, risk or security related projects
  • Exposure to or interest in AI and automation initiatives
  • Solid working knowledge of MS Projects
  • Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
