Workday Financials Reporting Analyst

London - Largely remote / as and when is required

6 month initial contract - Scope to extend

Up to £850 per day via umbrella engagement

We are seeking an experienced Workday Financials Reporting Analyst to design, develop reporting solutions across the Workday Financials platform. Working closely with Finance stakeholders and the wider IT team, you will deliver high-quality reporting and analytics that support financial analysis, management reporting and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain Workday Advanced, Matrix, Composite and Trending reports.
  • Gather and translate finance business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
  • Develop calculated fields and utilise Workday and Prism data sources.
  • Manage report security, scheduling, distribution and performance optimisation.
  • Test, troubleshoot and support reporting solutions throughout their lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to ensure adherence to governance and change processes.
  • Provide reporting guidance and knowledge sharing within the support team.
  • Support and maintain other Finance applications as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience developing Workday Financials reporting solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday reporting, business objects, calculated fields, security and data sources.
  • Understanding of financial reporting, including income statements, budget vs actuals and variance analysis.
  • Experience with testing, reconciliation, report distribution and change management processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

  • Experience with Workday Prism Analytics and/or Workday Accounting Center.
  • Experience optimising reporting performance in complex environments.
  • Experience developing dashboards, worklets and reporting solutions supporting integrations.
