You'll lead the design, automation, and optimisation of our Azure platforms — driving technical excellence and influencing strategy at every level.
What you'll do:
- Define and evolve our Azure architecture, ensuring every solution is robust, scalable, and secure.
- Set technical standards, mentor engineering teams, and lead impactful design reviews.
- Oversee complex deployments, enforce governance, and deliver projects on time and to the highest quality.
- Champion automation, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD best practices.
- Optimise performance, implement proactive monitoring, and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business leaders to deliver high-performing cloud solutions.
- Maintain clear operational and compliance documentation.
- Stay ahead of Azure trends, evaluate new tech, and inspire innovation.
- Coach and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning.
This role is office based, 3 days per week (Monday to Friday) and also requires being on-call
