IT Applications Analyst

As the IT Applications Analyst (internally referred to as Senior Analyst, IT) you will be responsible for providing functional and technical support for business applications, playing a key hands-on role in developing, enhancing and maintaining business processes within finance, specifically utilising your experience with order to cash (O2C) and procure to pay (P2P) processes. We will look to you to work independently and take the lead on support requirements and projects related to the application, taking ownership of the relationship with our consultancy partner to ensure our applications remain appropriate for business requirements and remain efficient. You will ensure knowledge is shared across the team and support leverage best practice. You will also look to you to be willing and able to pick up knowledge and experience with bolt-on services and other applications ahead of future projects. This is a hybrid working role (three days in the office), based at our head office in Weybridge, with occasional travel requirements to sites. A full UK driver’s license is a requirement for this role for this reason. YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY…
- Engaging with stakeholders through update/enhancement projects, playing an active part in workshops and requirement gathering, process documentation, configuration, UAT and release
- Developing plans for upgrades of new systems aligned to IT strategy
- Taking ownership on incidents and requests raised, working independently to gather more information when required, and closing tickets out within the SLA
- Driving supplier management to ensure services are delivered in accordance with agreed processes and SLAs (including contract management, service reviews, and billing)
- Ensuring users have the appropriate level of access necessary to perform their role
- Develop and test arrangements to ensure critical IT systems availability following a disaster
- Identify and drive improvements to reduce the number of incidents
- Design, document, and communicate system standards and approve exceptions
- Technically and functionally experienced with enterprise applications (with demonstratable experience with O2C and P2P processes) – must-have experience
- Willing to continue your development by learning additional applications
- Experienced delivering relevant support to end users and, ideally, involvement in upgrade, enhancement, or implementation projects
- Experienced working with application bolt-on solutions
- Experienced working with vendors during projects and for operational service delivery
- Able to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision
- In possession of a full UK driver’s license
