Lead Platform Engineer | London - £140,000 + Bonus

Want to be at the centre of a digital asset exchange and one of the most recognised names in crypto, shaping their cloud platform from the ground up?

This global crypto exchange has surpassed $1 trillion in trading volume and is now looking to build out its Azure Cloud environment.

The role is hands-on engineering first, writing high-quality Python or Go, working across Kubernetes (AKS), Azure, and Terraform, but also gives you the scope to lead, influence, and grow a team.

Once you’ve settled in, the work shifts quickly into architecture, platform design, and modernisation.

You'll be migrating VMs into AKS, improving cloud architecture, driving automation across a fully cloud-native environment, and optimising performance, cost, and security for systems used by institutional traders, HNW clients, and on-chain services.

You’ll initially manage one engineer, with plans to scale the team to 7–8 over the next year.
