OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Technical Business Analyst with deep knowledge of performance attribution to join a high-profile change programme within a global financial services organisation.
This role is instrumental in delivering technology-driven solutions, focusing on data integrity, performance calculation workflows, and stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams. You’ll work closely with programme leadership and third-party vendors to ensure successful execution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the technology workstream of a major change initiative, partnering with programme leadership and external providers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Translate complex business, functional, and technical requirements into structured solution documentation and deliverables.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to support solution design, impact assessments, and validation processes.
- Embed robust data governance and management practices to ensure data quality and compliance throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Coordinate and/or conduct development analysis and testing activities.
- Support planning, estimation, and delivery tracking throughout all phases of the project, including test execution and user acceptance.
Essential:
- Proven experience in performance attribution analysis within asset or investment management.
- Practical experience using the B-One performance calculation engine .
- Strong understanding of investment products and how they affect portfolio performance.
- Proficiency in SQL and advanced data analysis techniques.
- Ability to bridge business and technical requirements, delivering clear and actionable documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience engaging senior stakeholders across technology and business functions.
- Background in financial services , preferably within asset management or related domains.
- Proficient in creating visual and technical artefacts (e.g., Visio , iServer ) to support solution design and communication.
- Experience working with distributed teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
Desirable:
- Exposure to large-scale transformation or vendor integration programmes.
- Experience in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise data architecture principles and data governance frameworks
