Slack Implementation Lead – Contract | London | Outside IR35

This leading investment management firm is looking for a senior Slack specialist to lead the rollout and adoption of Slack across their business.

They've made the decision to move to Slack as their primary collaboration tool - replacing Webex and reducing reliance on email. The goal is cleaner communication, better context capture, and a tool that genuinely connects their teams. Teams was considered and ruled out. They're fully committed to Slack.

What you'll be doing

Leading the end-to-end implementation, but more importantly, driving real adoption. That means building a culture around Slack, setting up clean channel structures, coaching specialists, and making sure the rollout sticks - not just technically, but behaviourally.

What they're looking for

• Proven Slack implementation experience, ideally within the last 3–4 years
• Background in investment management - this is a must
• Strong change management skills; you'll be working across teams and need to bring people with you
• Someone credible at senior level who can influence and guide without being heavy-handed
• Experience establishing Slack best practices - pristine channels, reduced noise, clear governance
