Our sister company Snell Executive, are saerching for a Product Line Leader to drive product management for a global manufacturer of products for the data centre industry.
The data centre market is evolving at pace. AI, hyperscale expansion, increasing power density, and demand for faster deployment are reshaping how infrastructure is designed, built, and connected.
Our client is looking for an experienced Product Line Lead to drive the commercial success and strategic direction of a portfolio of physical infrastructure solutions serving the global data centre ecosystem.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who understands how products succeed within the data centre environment, not just on paper, but in the real world. You'll combine market insight, commercial ownership, product strategy, and team leadership to shape the future direction of a growing product portfolio.
You will be the voice of the market inside the organisation, translating customer needs, competitor intelligence, and industry trends into profitable product strategies, successful launches, and long-term growth.
If you've built your career around physical data centre infrastructure, connectivity, cabling, racks, power, cooling, containment, or adjacent technologies, this is an opportunity to lead at a strategic level while still maintaining close proximity to the market and customers.
As Product Line Lead, you will own the commercial and strategic performance of your product portfolio from concept through to retirement.
You'll work closely with engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and executive stakeholders to identify market opportunities, define product roadmaps, optimise portfolio performance, and deliver profitable growth.
Alongside portfolio ownership, you'll lead and develop Product Managers within the team, creating a culture of accountability, commercial thinking, and high performance.
Lead Product Strategy & Portfolio Growth
- Define and execute product line strategies aligned to business growth objectives
- Own product roadmaps, investment priorities, and lifecycle planning
- Identify emerging market opportunities within the global data centre ecosystem
- Translate customer and market intelligence into commercially successful products
Drive Commercial Performance
- Operate the product line as a business, owning revenue, margin, and profitability
Shape the Future Product Portfolio
- Lead the commercial contribution to product development and innovation programmes
- Define market requirements and target customer segments
Build Strategic Market Relationships
- Develop relationships across the wider data centre ecosystem
- Establish partnerships with manufacturers, technology providers, industry stakeholders, and emerging market entrants
- Act as a market ambassador, representing the business with customers and key industry partners
Lead People & Cross-Functional Teams
- Coach, mentor, and develop Product Managers and emerging talent
- Drive accountability, execution, and continuous improvement

Essential Experience
- Proven product leadership experience within a physical product environment
- Strong understanding of the data centre ecosystem and how infrastructure components interact
- Experience owning product strategy, roadmaps, pricing, and lifecycle management
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including revenue and margin ownership
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
Desirable
- Data centre infrastructure product expertise
- Connectivity or telecommunications industry experience
