Head of Sales | Northwest / London | £90k + £150k OTE + Equity

Our Client

Our client is an early-stage SaaS business operating at the intersection of data, insight and HR decision-making.

They’re approaching £1m in ARR and have just raised further investment, as part of this investment round they’re looking to transition away from a founder led sales motion by hiring their first Sales Lead. They already have a group of customers with very strong retention (multi-year customers already embedded), and are ready to scale further with their platform which is aimed at Enterprise organisations, helping to them to use data which improves employee engagement and company culture.

This is not a board level revenue title.

This is a build while closing role, with the progression path to build the GTM function in time.

What You’ll Get

  • Base salary: £80 - 90k
  • OTE: £150k (5x quota multiple), this is both realistic and uncapped
  • 0.75% EMI equity
  • Permanent, full-time role
  • Reporting directly to the CEO
  • Weekly office presence (can be Manchester / Liverpool – or London)

What You’ll Do

  • Personally own and close a meaningful portion of new ARR (quota £750k)
  • Lead complex, consultative sales cycles with senior HR and enterprise buyers
  • Build forecasting discipline and stage clarity
  • Embed MEDDPICC (or equivalent) sales rigour across the business
  • Reduce founder reliance in closing deals
  • Partner closely with Marketing & Demand to improve pipeline quality
  • Validate and grow the new corporate HR segment (targeting 5,000–20,000 employee organisations)
  • Hire and ramp early AEs when the time is right

What You’ll Need

  • 7–12 years in B2B SaaS sales
  • Proven track record closing complex, consultative deals
  • Experience in early-stage / scale-up environments (£1m–£10m ARR range ideal)
  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline
  • Comfort building structure while carrying a quota
  • Gravitas with senior stakeholders
