Appian Architect

6 month Contract with likelihood of extension.

Our client, a leading consultancy, is looking for an Appian Architect who will be responsible for defining enterprise-level Appian solutions, driving architectural decisions, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing implementations aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and document end-to-end solution architecture using multiple architectural views
• Lead technical and business architecture efforts, including business capability modelling
• Design enterprise integration architectures (SOA, ESB, n-tier)
• Oversee Appian application design standards, governance, and best practices
• Guide development teams on architecture, performance, and scalability
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders in Agile environments

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in architecture, BPM, or enterprise application integration
• 3+ years defining and documenting technology architectures
• 3+ years of Enterprise Application Integration (SOA/ESB)
• 4+ years of experience in Agile SDLC for large-scale, mission-critical systems
• 4+ years of business process modelling and optimization
• Strong experience with SOAP/REST web services
• Strong knowledge of application Servers (JBoss, WebLogic, IIS, Tomcat)
• Experience with relational databases and SQL (Oracle preferred)
• Experience with Appian SAIL design
• Telecoms domain experience is a plus
