GIS Specialist

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a GIS Specialist to join our Land Referencing & Geospatial team.You’ll play a key role in our GIS Hub within the Land Referencing & Geospatial Team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality geospatial data, mapping, and analysis to support major infrastructure development schemes. You will support the team in ensuring that geospatial outputs, data management processes, and digital tools meet the requirements of national infrastructure planning, land acquisition, stakeholder engagement, and statutory processes.This is a home-based position, and your focus will be in the following areas:• Support the GIS Hub by delivering high-quality mapping, spatial analysis, and geospatial data management for major infrastructure projects.• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical standards, workflows, and best practices within the GIS team.• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across land referencing, planning, engineering, and digital functions to ensure geospatial inputs meet project needs.• Create, update, and maintain geospatial datasets, mapping products, and web GIS applications to support land acquisition and project development activities.• Assist with GIS scoping, data preparation, analysis tasks, and technical support for large infrastructure programmes and related land referencing work.

Team Overview

Savills Land Referencing & Geospatial team support a wide range of utility and infrastructure projects across the UK.

The wider Rural division operates across the UK, with a network of 37 offices and a number of estate offices from Inverness in the North to Truro in the South-West
