Test Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for a Testing Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of Sayvr’s front-end (mobile/web) applications and back-end services. You’ll be responsible for designing and executing manual test plans, documenting issues, and developing automated tests to improve regression coverage over time.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document manual tests across web, mobile, and API surfaces
• Develop and maintain automated test suites (end-to-end, integration, and unit where applicable)
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation
• Collaborate with engineers to define acceptance criteria
• Identify, reproduce, and report software defects with clarity and context
• Participate in release testing and ensure product stability before deployment

Requirements

• Proven experience testing front-end (React / React Native) and back-end (Node.js / REST / GraphQL) systems
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience writing automated tests with frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or similar
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows
• Comfortable using tools like Postman, GitHub, and Linear (or similar issue trackers)
• Excellent attention to detail and clear written communication skills
• (Nice to have) Experience testing IoT or device-integrated systems
