About Sayvr
Sayvr is an AI-powered mobile app that lets users scan food, meals, groceries, or receipts with their camera to instantly get personalized recipes, detailed nutrition tracking, and smart shopping lists. We’re a fast-growing team making food and nutrition simple, fast, and delightful.
About the Role
We’re looking for a talented UX/UI designer with strong mobile expertise (bonus graphic design skills to own the design of our iOS and Android apps). You’ll focus on creating seamless camera-scanning experiences, recipe flows, nutrition dashboards, and everyday user journeys that feel intuitive and magical.
Key Responsibilities
- Design core mobile features: camera scanning, real-time food detection, recipe generation, nutrition breakdowns, and shopping lists
- Build user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity screens, and interactive Figma prototypes
- Design for all states (loading during AI processing, errors, empty states, offline, permissions, etc.)
- Translate user journeys into clear product requirements
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing
- Use analytics and research to iterate and improve key metrics
- Bonus: Create graphic assets (icons, marketing visuals, illustrations) as needed
Requirements
- 3–5+ years UX/UI design experience with consumer mobile apps
- Deep knowledge of mobile UX patterns (camera interfaces, tab bars, gestures, haptics, keyboard handling, stack navigation)
- Expert in Figma or other design tools
- Familiar with iOS and Android operating systems
- Comfortable designing complex journeys and all edge cases/error states
- Experience with user analytics tools and basic UX research
Bonus Points
- Strong graphic design / illustration skills
- Experience with camera, AR, or AI-powered apps
- Motion design or accessibility knowledge
If you’re passionate about making AI feel effortless on mobile and love food/nutrition, we’d love to see your work!
