The Role: Head of Web

The company are looking for a Head of Web to lead their most high-impact digital channels. This role bridges brand, performance, and product transforming their web presence into a high-performing, conversion-led engine that fuels both product-led and sales-led growth.

You’ll manage a multidisciplinary team spanning design, development, UX, content, and experimentation with full ownership of web performance, conversion strategy, and execution speed. This is a fast-evolving function where AI and experimentation drive continuous optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Vision: Develop the long-term roadmap for their website and digital surfaces, balancing brand storytelling, product clarity, and speed of delivery.
  • Performance & Conversion: Own the full web funnel, from traffic acquisition to key user actions like sign-ups, demo requests, and pricing engagement.
  • Design & Experimentation: Use AI-driven design and prototyping tools to test and iterate user experiences at pace.
  • Growth Enablement: Build tailored user journeys for both self-serve and sales-assisted visitors, optimising conversion paths, and CTAs for each audience.
  • SEO & Organic Growth: Partner with marketing and content teams to embed SEO best practices and deliver sustainable organic growth.
  • Content & Messaging: Work with brand and product marketing to ensure consistent, high-impact messaging across pages and campaigns.
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation: Establish a culture of testing and learning, running A/B and multivariate tests to continuously improve results.
  • Technology & Performance: Oversee the website’s technical foundations, ensuring reliability, scalability, and fast load times.
  • AI Personalisation: Leverage AI tools for dynamic content, segmentation, and personalised experiences that improve engagement and outcomes.

About You:

  • 7+ years in web, growth, UX, or digital product roles within B2B SaaS or tech environments.
  • Proven success in driving web performance, conversion, and experimentation.
  • Experience leading cross-functional digital teams (design, dev, UX, and content).
  • Strong technical knowledge of CMS platforms, analytics, and web infrastructure.
  • Comfortable working with AI tools for design, testing, and personalisation.
  • Data-driven and experiment-oriented, with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Collaborative and strategic, able to work effectively across product, brand, and performance teams.
