BISO (Business Information Security Officer) - Banking - London/Hybrid.

Our client, an investment bank based in the City of London, requires an experienced Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to join their team.

As BISO you will:

• Act as the primary liaison between the centralised cybersecurity team and business units, translating security requirements into business-friendly language;
• Adapt and implement enterprise-wide security policies to fit the needs of various business units;
• Work to integrate security considerations into daily business processes and projects;
• Conduct risk assessments, manage third-party risk, and help the business units understand and accept security risks to make informed decisions;
• Advise on security best practices;
• Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day issues and help ensure effective incident response, providing on-the-ground feedback to the CISO;
• Collaborate on ensuring business units adhere to regulations and standards;
• Help educate both technical and non-technical staff within their business units about security risks and best practices.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proven CISO experience with a strong focus on supporting the business and acting as the conduit between the business and the cybersecurity function;
• Previous investment banking experience;
• Good knowledge of current regulatory and cybersecurity standards and best practices; and
• Excellent communication skills.

This is a hybrid role (3 days a week in the London, City office) and is inside IR35.
