IAM SOX Audit Controller - Banking - London/Hybrid

IAM SOX Audit Controller - Banking - London/Hybrid. Our client, an investment bank based in the City of London, requires an experienced IAM SOX Audit Controller to join their team to carry out IAM SOX audit controls and check compensating controls for IAM leaver processes.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE;

• Proven experience working in Audit Control within a banking/investment banking/financial services setting;
• Experience in Internal Controls: Proven experience in designing, executing, and documenting internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR);
• SOX Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (Sections 302 and 404), COSO or COBIT frameworks, and risk-assessment practices;
• IAM & Segregation of Duties (SoD): Expertise in identity and access management (IAM) principles, including least privilege and segregation of duties, within a SOX context;
• Audit & Documentation Skills: Ability to perform and document user access reviews, identify control deficiencies, and work with process owners on remediation;
• Process Management: Experience in evaluating new operations or processes for SOX implications and managing "Joiner, Mover, Leaver" (JML) processes to ensure compliance;
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal and external auditors, as well as various departments (IT, HR, Finance); and
• Technical Acumen: Ability to review and interpret technical audit logs and manage GRC.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the London (City) office and is inside IR35/Umbrella Company only.
