Were looking for a Head of Technology to define our technical direction, lead delivery, and stay hands-on when it matters. Youll shape how we build setting the roadmap, refining our stack, and partnering with strategists and designers to turn ambition into reality while playing a key role in shaping forward-thinking digital solutions for our clients.

What Youll Actually Do

• Lead Schemas technical strategy and architecture across CMS, web, and app projects.
• Be hands-on when needed: write code, fix pipelines, resolve infrastructure issues and unblock delivery.
• Select and manage external developers and vendors ; establish clear standards and QA.
• Translate business and UX goals into realistic, scalable technical plans.
• Collaborate with strategy and UX leads to turn creative ambition into solid tech execution.
• Help pitch and shape new work; guide clients through technology decisions .
• Build a tech operating model that scales without constant founder input.

Youll Bring

• 58+ years in agency or product environments as a Senior Developer / Tech Lead .
• Proven ownership of web stack delivery CMS, APIs, integrations, frontend and backend.
• Fluent across the stack: frontend, backend, DevOps, CI/CD enough to guide teams and get hands-on .
• Experienced in managing vendors and small engineering teams , maintaining high-quality delivery under pressure.
• Able to explain complex trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• A mix of hands-on curiosity with strategic vision you love solving problems and shaping technical direction.
• Ideas and drive to push new technologies .
• Itching to own the bigger picture .

• Worked in boutique agencies, startups, or high-pressure creative environments.
• Built for luxury, travel, or hospitality brands .
• Touched Umbraco, Kentico, Wordpress or other headless CMS .
• Played with data, personalisation, or AI-assisted development tools .
