Contract Gloss Developer - Investment Banking - trade processing/data flows/Agile/SDLC/testing
The role requires hands-on development, code reviews, unit testing, defect resolution, and successful integration of solutions into the wider application landscape through clear, resilient, and well-tested interfaces. The candidate will be expected to follow established development, testing, and release management practices while contributing to the continual improvement of delivery processes.
Key Skills and Experience:
Proven experience developing and supporting Gloss banking software applications.
Strong understanding of banking products, trade processing, financial data flows, and system integrations.
Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
Ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand business needs and define solution requirements.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
Strong software development, debugging, unit testing, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team while also demonstrating a proactive and independent approach to delivery.
Familiarity with SDLC, release management, testing, and change control processes.
Contract role inside IR35 - hybrid working - initial 12 month contract
