F5 NETWORK ENGINEER - CONTRACT

*Infrastructure Engineer - Contract

Location: Hybrid - Edinburgh, Leeds or Manchester | 2 days per week on-site

We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong exposure to F5 and networking technologies to join a specialist infrastructure delivery team within a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, test and maintain F5 BIG-IP solutions.
• Work across LTM, GTM/DNS, APM and AWAF.
• Support infrastructure across private and public cloud environments.
• Develop and integrate automation using Python, Jenkins and GitHub.
• Work with AppViewX ADC+, DO and AS3.
• Contribute to CI/CD and Agile delivery using tools such as Jira.
• Troubleshoot complex networking and infrastructure issues.

Essential Experience

• Proven Infrastructure Engineering experience in a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking, IP routing, Firewalls and security.
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Understanding of cloud architectures, CaaS, IaaS and traditional data centres.
• Experience with automation and enterprise integrations, particularly Python.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good understanding of operational resilience and security.
