The Role.

We are building a pool of talented Freelance Front-End Developers to collaborate with on an ongoing basis. As our portfolio grows, we regularly need additional capacity to deliver high-end digital experiences. This is a flexible opportunity to work alongside our in-house team on everything from bespoke interactive web apps to templated website deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development & Interactivity: Translate UI/UX design concepts into high-performing, responsive, and interactive web applications.
  • Collaboration: Partner with our in-house designers and developers to ship new features and full-scale projects.
  • Framework Integration: Work within existing in-house frameworks to deliver templated sites and custom builds efficiently.
  • Quality & Performance: Ensure all builds are optimised for speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

Who You Are: Required Skills

  • Front-End Expertise: Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript with a strong portfolio of live work.
  • CMS & Back-End: Solid experience with WordPress CMS and PHP 8+.
  • Modern Frameworks: Experience with React, Next.js, or Astro.
  • Animation: Proven experience using GSAP for high-end web interactions.
  • Design Literacy: Comfortable using Figma (Developer Mode) to extract assets and specs.
  • Version Control: Skilled in using Git and collaborating within remote team workflows.
  • Reliability: Clear communication regarding your capacity and a commitment to meeting project deadlines.

Great to Have (Preferred)

  • Agency Experience: Previous experience working within a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Laravel Knowledge: Familiarity with Laravel 12.x.
  • Technical Standards: Understanding of SEO fundamentals and Accessibility (WCAG A/AA) principles.
  • London Based: While the role is flexible, being London-based is a plus for occasional in-office collaboration.
