Strategy & Operations

About the Company

I am supporting a high-growth, venture-backed AI company building workflow infrastructure for institutional financial firms. The platform transforms complex, manual processes across investment banking, private equity, private credit and asset management into scalable, production-grade AI systems. It is already embedded within leading global financial institutions and is entering its next phase of scale.

About the Role

They are now hiring a high-leverage Strategy & Operations professional to operate within the Founder’s Office. This is not a narrow functional position. It is a company-level leverage role, working directly with the founders to design and build the operating system that allows the business to scale without losing speed or quality. The mandate is to increase company velocity — translating strategy into execution and building the infrastructure that supports sustained growth.

Responsibilities

Company Operating Cadence

  • Design and run weekly leadership reviews
  • Build functional scorecards across product, revenue and client delivery
  • Own quarterly planning and execution tracking
  • Ensure metrics are decision-useful and tied to outcomes

Strategic Execution

  • Translate founder-level priorities into structured execution plans
  • Identify bottlenecks and reallocate resources where necessary
  • Sequence initiatives across teams to maximise product and revenue velocity
  • Hold cross-functional stakeholders accountable to delivery

Commercial & Product Interface

  • Build dashboards across pipeline, trials, enterprise deployments and revenue
  • Monitor strategic accounts and identify expansion paths
  • Work closely with product to align roadmap sequencing with commercial impact
  • Develop prioritisation frameworks across clients and workflows

Internal Infrastructure

  • Identify process gaps across internal systems and tooling
  • Build scalable playbooks and performance frameworks
  • Improve hiring and evaluation scorecards
  • Create reporting infrastructure that drives clarity and accountability

This role requires someone who can move between a sales pipeline review, an engineering stand-up and a founder strategy discussion within the same day.

Qualifications

  • 4–8 years’ experience, ideally from one of the following backgrounds:
  • BizOps / RevOps / Product Ops within a high-growth B2B SaaS or AI company
  • Founder’s Office / Chief of Staff in a scaling start-up

Strong analytical capability is essential. Evidence of building systems and owning outcomes — not just producing decks.

What This Offers

  • Direct exposure to the founding team
  • Meaningful equity participation
  • High ownership and real influence on company trajectory
  • A front-row seat to AI transformation within institutional finance
  • A role that will likely be the most operationally demanding and highest-leverage work of your career
