£85,000–£125,000 + bonus | Remote-first | Some travel
Search26 are working on multiple Security Architect opportunities for candidates who enjoy being hands-on technically, rather than sitting purely on the governance or compliance side.
You'll be responsible for helping design and implement secure solutions, working closely with engineering teams and clients to make sure security is built into the way systems are designed and developed.
The role
The focus is across:
- Application Security
- Cloud Security
- DevSecOps
- Secure Software Development Lifecycles
- Threat Modelling
- Vulnerability Management
- Security Testing
- Security tooling and controls
- Working with development and engineering teams to implement security requirements
- Providing technical security advice to clients and project teams
What we're looking for
You'll ideally have:
- Strong experience in Security Architecture / Security Engineering
- A genuinely hands-on technical background
- Experience designing and implementing security solutions
- Strong understanding of secure software development
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS
- Scripting/programming experience such as Python, PowerShell or Bash
- Infrastructure as Code experience such as Terraform, ARM or Ansible
- Experience working within a consultancy or client-facing environment
Experience across healthcare, defence or the public sector would be particularly valuable.
SC clearance is required for some positions.

The role is remote-first, with travel to client sites where required.
£90,000–£125,000 + 5% bonus
