DevOps Engineer (GCP focused)
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our cloud infrastructure team. Reporting to the Head of Cloud Infrastructure, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation, support and maintenance of our infrastructure and systems across development, testing and production environments, hosted on GCP and co-location data centres.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, plan and implement infrastructure change as part of a DevOps team, contributing to the evolution of our products and services
- Maintain secure and robust cloud-based networks and infrastructure using IaC methods (Terraform), with strong knowledge of networking principles including routing, DNS, load balancing and security controls
- Manage containerised workloads using Kubernetes (GKE), ensuring high availability, scalability and efficient resource utilisation
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test and deployment workflows across environments
- Implement and manage systems monitoring, proactively respond to alerts, and participate in on-call out-of-hours support on a rotational basis
- Participate in capacity planning, performance monitoring, disaster recovery testing and regular security audits
Skills Knowledge & Expertise
- Several years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) core services
- Good working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience with Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu) administration
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles including IAM, RBAC, secrets management and network security controls
- Experience with monitoring and observability tooling such as Prometheus/Grafana or Google Cloud Monitoring
- Good working knowledge of Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and PowerShell/Linux scripting.
