Senior Information Security Analyst
Location: Leeds
Hybrid: Typically 2 days per week in the office
As a Senior Information Security Analyst, you’ll act as both a technical expert and mentor, working closely with IT teams, developers, and senior stakeholders to improve the organisation’s overall security posture.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Developing and maintaining security policies and risk management processes
- Supporting ISO 27001 and data protection compliance
- Embedding security into the software development lifecycle
- Conducting security assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing
- Monitoring and responding to security incidents
- Assessing risks associated with cloud platforms and emerging technologies such as AI
- Mentoring junior members of the security team
About You
- Around 5+ years’ experience in information security, 2+ years in senior roles
- Experience working with ISO 27001 and security frameworks such as NIST or CSA
- Strong understanding of cloud security and secure development principles (OWASP)
- Hands-on experience with tools such as SIEM, IAM, DLP, or MDR
- Industry certification such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ is desirable
