Senior Information Security Analyst

Location: Leeds

Hybrid: Typically 2 days per week in the office

As a Senior Information Security Analyst, you’ll act as both a technical expert and mentor, working closely with IT teams, developers, and senior stakeholders to improve the organisation’s overall security posture.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Developing and maintaining security policies and risk management processes
• Supporting ISO 27001 and data protection compliance
• Embedding security into the software development lifecycle
• Conducting security assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing
• Monitoring and responding to security incidents
• Assessing risks associated with cloud platforms and emerging technologies such as AI
• Mentoring junior members of the security team

About You

• Around 5+ years’ experience in information security, 2+ years in senior roles
• Experience working with ISO 27001 and security frameworks such as NIST or CSA
• Strong understanding of cloud security and secure development principles (OWASP)
• Hands-on experience with tools such as SIEM, IAM, DLP, or MDR
• Industry certification such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ is desirable
