I’m currently working with a leading global consulting firm that is investing heavily in its SAP Tax & Transformation capability. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to hire an experienced SAP Indirect Tax Senior Manager to join their UK team.
💡 The Opportunity
This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of tax, technology, and large-scale ERP transformation.
You’ll work with multinational clients to:
- Shape and deliver SAP-enabled tax transformations
- Advise on VAT/GST processes within S/4HANA programmes
- Support e-invoicing and digital tax compliance initiatives
- Help organisations optimise their tax operating models through technology
You’ll also play a key role in:
- Leading end-to-end tax workstreams
- Managing senior stakeholders
- Supporting client pursuits and business development
🧩 What We’re Looking For
✅ Essential
- Strong experience in indirect tax (VAT/GST)
- Proven track record working with SAP (ideally S/4HANA)
- Experience across SAP implementations or transformation programmes
- Ability to lead workstreams and manage client relationships
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
⭐ Desirable
- Experience with tax engines (e.g. Thomson Reuters, Vertex)
- Exposure to SAP DRC / e-invoicing / digital reporting
- Broader understanding of finance transformation or ERP programmes
- Consulting background or experience in a client-facing role
