A leading global professional services firm is expanding its Financial Services Tax Transformation function, with a major focus on AI adoption and technology-led innovation across the practice.

They’re looking for a strong Senior Developer or Technical Lead who is ready to step into a more architectural role — helping design and deliver cloud-native, AI-enabled solutions that modernise tax processes and drive measurable business impact.

The Role

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and wants to broaden their influence across solution design, platform strategy, and business transformation.

You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to shape scalable, secure, and modern solutions, while continuing to stay hands-on with technology.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and building scalable cloud-native solutions within Azure
• Developing GenAI applications and AI agent workflows (LangGraph or similar)
• Contributing to architecture decisions and technical direction across projects
• Driving engineering best practices across DevOps, CI/CD, and software delivery
• Integrating Power Platform tools with enterprise systems and data sources
• Supporting technical roadmaps, reusable frameworks, and platform improvements
• Improving system performance, observability, and reliability
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, BA, engineering, and programme leadership
• Acting as a senior technical voice within delivery teams while growing architectural capability

What They’re Looking For

• Strong software engineering background with experience building cloud-based applications
• Hands-on experience with Azure and modern cloud-native technologies
• Strong development skills in Python, .NET, or Java
• Experience working with GenAI / LLMs and AI-enabled applications
• Exposure to AI agents, orchestration frameworks, or automation tooling
• Understanding of APIs, event-driven systems, data pipelines, and security best practices
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, or DevOps tooling is beneficial
• Exposure to Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) is a plus
• Strong communication skills and an interest in progressing into architecture and technical leadership
