We are seeking an Automation Tester with active SC Clearance to join a leading consultancy, working on high-profile projects within central government departments. This is an excellent opportunity to work on secure, large-scale systems that make a real impact.

WHAT WILL THE AUTOMATION TESTER BE DOING? As an Automation Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of complex applications. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Java and Selenium, as well as contributing to the wider testing strategy within agile delivery teams.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Current SC Clearance (essential)
• Strong background in test automation within agile environments
• Proficiency with Java and Selenium WebDriver
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks
• Knowledge of testing best practices, defect management, and reporting
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes

Desirable:

• Exposure to API testing (e.g. RestAssured, Postman)
• Experience in performance or security testing
• Consultancy or public sector project experience
