Who we are...

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Native Engineer to join a leading consultancy, delivering mission-critical projects in support of UK National Security. This hybrid London-based role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies on highly impactful programmes.

You will be responsible for designing, building and deploying modern, cloud-native solutions, leveraging containerisation, microservices, DevOps practices and automation to deliver secure, scalable and resilient systems. The role requires an engineer who thrives in complex environments and is able to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain cloud-native platforms and applications.
  • Develop solutions using containerisation and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Implement DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
  • Ensure solutions meet stringent security, performance and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, testers and security teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot and optimise systems for scalability, resilience and efficiency.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong background in cloud engineering, ideally in secure or regulated environments.
  • Experience with public and private cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack).
  • Hands-on knowledge of containerisation, Kubernetes, microservices and IaC (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps toolchains.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

Clearance & Requirements

SC Clearance required to start.

  • Must be eligible for DV Clearance
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid London-based role.
