We're looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer with active SC Clearance to join a high-performing engineering team delivering secure, scalable services for a major government programme. You'll play a key technical role in shaping, building, and maintaining critical digital products, using modern cloud and development practices.

The Role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll act as a technical specialist across one or more services-designing and developing features, resolving bugs, and improving documentation. You'll collaborate closely with the Engineering Team Lead to define a clear technical vision and roadmap, while mentoring engineers and promoting modern software delivery practices.

You'll be hands-on across the stack, from front-end development in React and TypeScript through to backend services in NodeJS and Python, leveraging AWS infrastructure and containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, secure software features and services
• Lead on the design of product components and modules
• Participate in code reviews, pairing, and collaborative "swarming" sessions
• Manage and support in-hours triage, incidents, and bug fixes
• Drive modern engineering standards, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
• Mentor Engineers and Associate Engineers
• Contribute to releases and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Current SC Clearance
• Strong full-stack development experience across React, NodeJS, and Python
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, secure software in an agile environment
• Experience mentoring or leading junior developers
