Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Range between £40,000 - £75,000 per annum (Experience dependant)

Location: Cheltenham or Gloucester (5 days on site)

Security Clearance: None required to start (you MUST be eligible and willing to go through eDV clearance)

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, design, and implementation of physical and virtual IT infrastructure solutions.
• Ensuring timely delivery of solutions that are aligned to customer requirements.
• Providing ongoing maintenance and support for deployed IT infrastructure.
• Timely troubleshooting and resolution of reported IT Infrastructure issues.
• Conducting regular system health monitoring, backups, patching, and upgrades.
• Creating, developing, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for all supported infrastructure.
• Developing scripts and automation tools to increase the efficiency of system administration tasks.

Key Tech stack (MUST haves):

• Networking technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc)
• Scripting/IaC tools (Ansible/AWX, Python, PowerShell, BASH)
• System Administration (Microsoft, Linux)
