The Junior Infrastructure Engineer Role

As Junior Infrastructure Engineer you will contribute to the maintenance, support and automation of on premises infrastructure. You will work across Windows and Linux administration, assist in resolving network and configuration issues, and help implement automation using Ansible. This role is ideal for someone proactive, curious and keen to develop their skills within a highly technical engineering team.

Junior Infrastructure Engineer Essential Skills

• Ansible (required) including playbooks, roles and inventories
• Mature knowledge of networking technologies and protocols (TCP or IP, DNS, DHCP and related fundamentals)
• Scripting or IaC experience with Ansible or AWX and at least one of Python, PowerShell or Bash
• System administration experience across Microsoft and Linux environments
• No clearance is required to start
• Must be willing to work full time on site in Cheltenham
