ABOUT THE ROLE

An established and growing technical consultancy is expanding its Central Government business and is seeking an experienced Lead Integration Architect. This role will involve designing, implementing, and assuring the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical systems, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.

THE TECHNICAL ARCHITECT ROLE

As a Lead Integration Architect, you will take ownership of solution design, supplier delivery assurance, and systems integration across major government projects. You will define architectures, advise client stakeholders, and ensure technical solutions meet strategic, operational, and compliance requirements. This role combines strong technical leadership with client-facing consultancy, including developing technology roadmaps and governance frameworks.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Proven experience in technical architecture, application and integration architectures
• Strong background in systems integration and supplier assurance for large IT programmes
• Skilled in secure solutions delivery, governance, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR)
• Expertise with architecture methods, frameworks, and tools
• Ability to define technology roadmaps and transitional architectures
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience managing technical risks and dependencies across large-scale systems
