Since launching in 2012, we've grown into a group of specialist brands covering recruitment, employer branding and tech consultancy, supporting some of the most exciting businesses in technology.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Manchester team and focus on the US Aerospace and Defence market. You'll be based from our modern Manchester city centre office, with working hours adjusted to allow you to maximise opportunities across US time zones.
What you'll do

You'll be responsible for:
Managing the full 360 recruitment cycle, from business development and client acquisition through to candidate sourcing, offer management and placement.
Building strong relationships with US-based clients, understanding their hiring needs and becoming a trusted recruitment partner.
Sourcing, engaging and representing high-quality technical talent across your chosen market.
Developing a strong personal brand and market presence within your specialist area.
Using Searchability's tools, systems and marketing support to generate leads, nurture relationships and grow your desk.
Working closely with colleagues across the wider group to share insight, leads and best practice.
Bringing energy, resilience and commercial awareness to every conversation.
About you
You'll be ambitious, credible and commercially minded, with experience in agency recruitment and a genuine interest in building a successful desk within the US market.
We're looking for someone who can bring:
2+ years' experience in agency recruitment, ideally within IT, digital, technology, engineering or a similar specialist market.
A proven track record of business development, candidate generation and successful placements.
Confidence speaking with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
The ability to manage your own desk, pipeline and priorities.
A consultative communication style and strong commercial awareness.
The flexibility to work adjusted hours to support US clients and candidates.
The ability to commute to our Manchester city centre office.
Previous experience recruiting into the US market would be beneficial, but it isn't essential if you have the right mindset, work ethic and recruitment fundamentals.
What you'll get
Competitive basic salary of £27,000-£40,000 DOE
Strong, defined commission structure with clear earning potential.
Transparent salary and promotion matrix.
Adjusted working hours to support the US market.
Modern Manchester city centre office.
Microsoft Surface Pro and iPhone.
Private healthcare.
#FeelSound hours - flexible time you can take on top of your holidays.
Annual trips abroad, race days, award ceremonies and regular team socials.
Early-finish Fridays and quarterly events.
Accredited training and clear progression into Senior, Principal or leadership roles.
Support from an established brand, experienced leadership team and in-house marketing function.
