Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Project Engineer who enjoys taking ownership, delivering technical projects from start to finish, and getting involved wherever the business needs them.What will you be doing This is a varied role that combines project delivery with senior technical support.

Working within a small, experienced team, you'll take ownership of infrastructure and cloud projects from initial scoping through to implementation, documentation and handover.There isn't a dedicated project team, so you'll be responsible for the full project lifecycle. That includes gathering requirements, producing technical designs, creating quotations, planning rollbacks, delivering solutions, documenting your work and ensuring a smooth transition into support.Alongside project work, you'll also act as an escalation point for complex technical issues. When the service desk is busy, you'll be expected to roll your sleeves up and work alongside the team to troubleshoot and resolve high-level incidents rather than simply passing work on.Projects are primarily centred around Microsoft technologies, including Azure infrastructure, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, MDM solutions, Cyber Essentials readiness, Microsoft Defender, MFA, cloud migrations and modern endpoint management.

Only a small number of clients retain legacy on-premise environments, so the role is heavily focused on cloud-first solutions.You'll also work across networking technologies, with experience of SonicWall firewalls and Aruba networking being highly beneficial.This role would suit someone who is comfortable making technical decisions, validating solutions, managing risk and taking full ownership of delivering successful outcomes for clients.What will you need Minimum 3 years' experience working within an MSP environment.Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).Hands-on Azure infrastructure experience, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).Strong knowledge of Intune, Endpoint Manager, MDM and device lifecycle management.Experience with Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA and identity management.Good understanding of Microsoft Defender and Microsoft security solutions.Experience implementing Cyber Essentials aligned security controls.Solid networking knowledge including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs and firewalls.Experience delivering technical infrastructure and cloud projects from end to end.Excellent troubleshooting skills across Microsoft cloud technologies.Ability to manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining excellent documentation and communication.What would be desirable Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, MS-102, MD-102, SC-300 or similar).Experience with SonicWall firewalls.Experience with Aruba networking solutions.Exposure to Halo PSA, Ninja RMM or IT Glue.Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Business / Defender for Endpoint.Experience working within security-focused or regulated environments.The PackageFull-time, permanent position.Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote).Opportunity to own projects from concept through to delivery.Exposure to the latest Microsoft cloud, Azure and security technologies.Varied technical work across Azure, Microsoft 365, networking and cyber security.Genuine opportunity to develop into a senior technical lead within a growing MSP.To ApplyPlease apply directly through this advert or email your CV to .For further information please call me on 0203 763 3888 / 07441 348 206.By applying, you consent to your application being processed and submitted to the client for this vacancy only.KEY SKILLS: Project Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, MSP, Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop, AVD, Microsoft 365, Intune, MDM, Entra ID, Azure Infrastructure, Cyber Essentials, Microsoft Defender, MFA, SonicWall, Aruba, Networking, Cloud Migrations, Project Delivery, Technical Design, Microsoft CloudTPBN1_UKTJ
