Who are the client? Our client is a well-established UK-based IT Managed Services Provider supporting hundreds of organisations across the region. Known for delivering excellent customer service, they foster a fast-paced and rewarding environment where employees are encouraged to develop professionally and technically.
What will you be doing? This is a hands-on, client-facing technical role within a dynamic engineering team. You'll be responsible for delivering 2nd line support across a variety of systems and environments through both remote and on-site service.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing support tickets covering desktop, server, networking, and cloud services
- Conducting proactive and reactive client site visits
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
- Recommending and implementing technical improvements
- Maintaining accurate documentation and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction
What will you need?
- Solid experience with Windows Server and Windows OS
- Office 365 administration
- Hyper-V / VMware
- Strong understanding of networking (DNS, routing, switching)
- Experience with VoIP systems (3CX preferred)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills
- Methodical approach with high attention to detail and strong customer service focus
What would be desirable?
- Familiarity with Cisco/Draytek firewalls and routers
- Experience supporting Apple devices
- Knowledge of Azure AD, Intune, Microsoft Defender
- Group Policy administration skills
- Exposure to Ubiquiti or Cisco wireless infrastructure
- Recognised technical certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, Apple)
- Prior experience working for an MSP or IT consultancy
